Electric Company Theatre and Studio 58

Electric Company Theatre and Studio 58 present the site-specific cabaret Flee: a darkly humorous and Kafkaesque tale blending theatre, live music, and video projection.  This co-production reunites Electric Company artists with the school where it all began.

Archibald Twill is a destitute watchmaker down on his luck who lives in a flophouse in the downtown eastside.  Things look pretty grim until Archibald comes into possession of a singing flea. Her name is Caprice. Soon,Caprice becomes Twill’s breadwinner and muse, and as her acclaim grows, he finds himself responsible for a counterculture outbreak that spreads throughout the city. How Caprice became what she is? Well, that’s an awful little story.
It’s a story that leaps and clings.

A story that won’t let go.

A story that will drain you.

A story that will leave you scratching your head.
